Meydan Games is a bilingual entertainment and social game app that allows users to play solo games, join online rooms, and participate in quizzes, challenges, and question series. It may include an in-app points or coins system used to unlock digital content inside the app.

Meydan Games may collect some information needed to operate its services and improve the user experience, such as:

  • Account information, such as name and email address when signing in with Google, Apple, or email and password.
  • The user's identifier inside the app.
  • App usage data, such as game results, balance, series, or quizzes that have been unlocked.
  • Technical information such as device type, operating system, and error logs to improve performance and fix issues.
  • Push-notification registration information, such as a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration token or Firebase Installation ID, installation identifier, platform, app version, and notification permission or enabled state. A guest installation may be registered, and it may be associated with the user's account after sign-in.
  • In-app payment data when purchasing coins or content, noting that payments are processed through Google Play and we do not store bank card details.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information for the following purposes:

  • Creating accounts and operating the app's core features.
  • Saving user progress, results, and balance inside the app.
  • Managing in-app purchases and verifying the user's access to purchased content.
  • Improving app quality and fixing errors.
  • Protecting the app from misuse or fraud.
  • Sending app-related notifications, such as new games, content, or important alerts, if the user agrees to receive them.

4. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell users' personal information. We may use external services that help us operate Meydan Games, such as:

  • Sign-in services, such as Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In, when the user chooses to register or sign in through them.
  • Our own app server, where the backend runs using Spring Boot on a private VPS, and app data is stored in a PostgreSQL database.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (provided by Google) and Apple Push Notification service (provided by Apple), to deliver app-related alerts if the user agrees to receive them.
  • Analytics or error logging services, only if enabled in the future to improve the app and monitor crashes.
  • Google Play to manage in-app purchases.
  • Hosting or storage services when needed to operate app content.

These services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

5. Coins and In-App Purchases

The app may allow users to purchase coins or digital content inside the app. Payments are processed through Google Play, and the app does not store sensitive payment data such as bank card numbers.

Coins are used only inside the app and cannot be converted into real money or transferred between users.

6. Notifications

Meydan Games may send users notifications about new games, new content, or important alerts. Notifications are optional, and users can turn them off from their device settings at any time.

To deliver and manage notifications, we store a push-notification registration token or installation identifier together with the device platform, app version, and permission state. Guest installations can receive general notifications; when a user signs in, the installation may be associated with that account so we can apply the selected audience rules. We use this information only to deliver notifications, handle token refreshes, remove invalid registrations, and respect the user's notification choice.

7. Data Protection

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, modification, or loss. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to operate the app, comply with legal requirements, or protect our rights and the rights of our users. Push-notification registration records are retained while needed to deliver notifications and are disabled or removed when the user turns notifications off, the token is refreshed, or the registration is found to be invalid.

Users may request access to their data, correction of their data, or deletion of their data where possible by contacting us through the email address listed below.

10. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under the legal age allowed in the user's country without parental consent. If we learn that we have collected information from a child without appropriate consent, we will work to delete it upon request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page, and continued use of the app after an update means acceptance of the new policy.
